People have asked, “Why do you climb mountains?” The answer is usually the same, “Because it’s there.”
One of the spoils of conquering the climb is the spectacular views you only get on the mountain top. It is reserved for those willing to “make the climb.” Not everyone is ready to go to the next level. The higher you climb, the more you can see. Rising to new heights always brings greater vision.
Throughout scripture, people have been climbing mountains to catch a better glimpse of God’s majesty and glory. It was after the climb that Moses saw the glory of God from the backside. It was after the climb that Jesus revealed himself to Peter, James, and John.
We ask you to “make the climb” with us as we seek a greater vision from the Lord personally, in our community, and for His kingdom. The climb will take work. It may be uncomfortable, even scary at times. But the vision at the top will be incredible.
At the summit of this climb we will see a community outreach center that will facilitate all kinds of generational transformation classes as well as a place for people to gather and live life together with a park, ball fields, wedding venue, and much more. The goal is lofty, but well worth the climb.
